Bonn, Germany - The Laureus World Sports Academy has announced the six nominations for the World Sportsperson of the Year with a Disability category for the Laureus World Sports Awards 2009.
The Singapore Disability Sports council (SDSC) held its national championship from swimming and track and field on 28 March 2009 and 4 April 2009 respectively. Mr Frankie Thanapal Sinniah, PBM, President of SDSC unveiled the council’s plans to develop disability sports for the next five years.
Mrs Lim Hwee Hua, Singapore’s first female minister, was the Guest of Honour at the Singapore Disability Sports Council (SDSC)’s 37th National Track and Field Championship which was held today at the Serangoon Stadium.
