3rd ASEAN Para Games Athlete Achievement Award
SDSC is proud to announce the Athlete Achievement Award, which is generously sponsored by North-East CDC. This award will aim to recognise the outstanding performers at the upcoming ASEAN Para Games in Manila, Philippines.
The Awards were announced at the Official Send-Off Ceremony at 12pm in Changi Airport Terminal 2 on Monday, 12th December 2005. The event was officiated by Dr Vivian Balakrishnan, Minister for Community Development, Youth and Sports.
Our athletes will be striving for excellence in Manila and this award will be additional motivation for them to perform to the best of their abilities. The Award will reward the medal-winning and record breaking performances of our athletes during the Games through monetary incentives.
Our disabled athletes have proven themselves internationally and their sacrifice, both in effort and time, must be duly rewarded to encourage them to excel in future sporting events. North-East CDC has generously come-forward to support our disabled sporting community.
