ParalympicSport.TV Gets New Look

Bonn, Germany - Today the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) re-launched its web TV channel ParalympicSport.TV.

After two years of operation, the channel now presents itself in a brand-new look and has plenty of new content to offer. Besides highlights from the 2007 IPC Ice Sledge Hockey European Championships and the 2007 IWAS Wheelchair Rugby European Championships, ParalympicSport.TV will also showcase new programme formates such as the monthly magazine ‘paraEmotion’ and ‘60seconds’, a regular news broadcast. The first magazine will air on 21 February 2008 with different features about Paralympic sports, athletes and events.

ParalympicSport.TV is a top quality 24/7 television channel broadcasting via the Internet with either regular or full screen size available for the best viewing experience. Free of charge, people all over the world are able to watch live and delayed programming, or see the coverage on demand later.

The goal of ParalympicSport.TV is to provide a variety of content from the Paralympic World including news, interviews, event reports and of course the Paralympic Games. Highlight of the year will be the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games, which will extensivley be broadcasted.

The development and relaunch of ParalympicSport.TV is coordinated by the IPC and its partners. Narrowstep Inc. and brandstage.tv underline the truly global nature of Paralympic broadcasting. As the leader of TV on the Internet Narrowstep provides the technical plattform whereas brandstage.tv takes charge of channel management and video production.
