The Riding for the Disabled Association of Singapore (RDA) and the Singapore Disability Sports Council (SDSC) is proud to announce that Max Tan, a disabled independent rider from Singapore was successful at the International CPEDIJ1 Young Riders Competition at Millfield which ended yesterday. He managed to achieve first place for both his events and became the Overall Champion of all grades because of his outstanding result. Furthermore he achieved this on a borrowed horse. Max will be returning from the UK today with his coach Sally Drummond.

The RDA’s objective is to provide rehabilitation to the physically and/or intellectually disabled children and adults through it’s unique therapeutic horse riding programs that are run mainly by volunteers. It is a registered charity that does not receive Government funding and depends on donations and sponsorships to fund its programs and operating costs. To achieve this objective the RDA has been developing capable riders to excel in the para equestrian sport.
