Bonding in the month of Love and Friendship

By Loh Shih Ying

This is the first time SDSC Touch is celebrating its Valentine's Day with you. Read on for some of the wishes we got for you!

A lot of people dislike Valentine’s Day. Or any kind of holiday that has been, sadly, over-commercialised. But I love being an old romantic and thinking of Valentine’s as a special day for lovers, friends and even families. On Valentine’s Day, flowers are in high demand. Many students in school are seen carrying a single stalk of rose around. In my opinion, disregard how commercialised a holiday has become and just enjoy the simplicity of one special day. Plus, it's so near to my birthday! So it's like a warm up to an even better special day. - Theresa Goh, National Swimmer
"If there is anything better than to be loved in this Valentine's Day, it is LOVING." - Jaffa M.S., SDSC Senior Sports Development Executive
We do wish everyone to be able to find their love. And for those out there who already have found it, treasure your loved ones. Express your love to them everyday, not necessarily only on Valentine’s Day. - He Shiyi and Chua Boon Joon, SDSC volunteers
