28th April is the Singapore Disability Sports Council’s (SDSC) ‘Come and Play Day’, a day dedicated to inviting members of the public to have fun while experiencing the disabled sports that SDSC offers. This is a day of a whole myriad of sports tryouts and challenges, food, prizes and……
Competitions and Try-outs
Feel like engaging in a little physical activity? Come and Play Day boasts two competitions for you to pit your skills against each other! Take your pick of either wheelchair basketball or boccia, both playoff knockout style, and you might stand to win very attractive prizes:

If competing is not your cup of tea, why not try out a myriad of disabled sports at the booths? On hand are athletes and volunteers of wheelchair basketball, boccia, table-tennis, tennis, wheelchair racing, bowling, shooting, archery, handcycling and short put throw to demonstrate their respective sports. Take the opportunity to try your hand at a new sport, and to interact with national athletes in their element.
Booths
If you feel tired after trying out the various sports, head on to the TCM booth for a relaxing, tension-releasing massage. TCM Professional Centre Pte Ltd will be providing therapists to sooth your aches and pains for the day. Find out more about the services they provide, and about the courses available as they ease your tired muscles. For those who wish to go for further treatments, free discount vouchers will also be made available.

Media Hub
Don’t forget to stop by at our Media Hub! Exciting and enriching videos on disability sports will be screened at the hub. It will be a great opportunity for you to find out more about boccia, tennis, Wheelchair basketball, handcycling, archery, sailing, equestrian sport and swimming. Moreover, you would not want to miss the displays for goalball and equestrian if you are yet to be introduced to these sports.
