Visually Impaired Runners - Guides Available for Standard Chartered Marathon

For Adults

Inspired by Henry Wanyoike, ambassador of the “Seeing is Believing” programme, a Singapore running group called Crazy2Tri hopes to guide visually impaired partners to complete at least 10km during the Standard Chartered Marathon 2008.

If you know any visually impaired runners who wishes to take up this challenge, please contact Mr Koh Boon Pin at 9369 1808 or email . Mr Boon Pin has previously guided Ms Lee Yuan Ping, a wheelchair user, during last year’s Marathon.

For Kids
For visually impaired kids who would like to participate in the Fun Race, kindly direct them to Kelly / Jeff / Nolan at or call 6342 3503. SDSC will be collating interest to ask for the inclusion of the kids, as well as advise on safety precautions.

If you are interested, let Boon Pin or us know your interest by 28 March 2008, so that we can ensure proper training and arrangements for the event.
