Singapore Disability Sports Council

This is a public education workshop on aquatic management for caregivers of people with a disability.

Swimming is a sport that benefits the disabled in many ways. However, not everyone knows how this can really be achieved. Attending this workshop will give you more insight on the benefits of swimming for the disabled. The topics that this workshop will cover depends on the topics that interest you. In short, this workshop is customised to suit your needs. You can inform us of your preferred topics through our pre-workshop questionnaire. Complete the questionnaire and send it in so that our professional trainers can prepare accordingly.

The following are examples of objectives that we have received
1. Provide awareness about Aquatics and its benefits to the disabled.
2. Learning opportunities of Aquatics for the disabled at different levels of competency.
3. Involvement opportunities for care-givers and coaches.

Time: 9.00am to 4.00pm
Venue: Jalan Besar Swimming Complex
Registration Cost: $20.00 (Includes lunch and course materials)

Eligibility
This workshop is open to :
1. Care-givers of the disabled.
2. Swimming coaches who are keen to find out more on swimming for the disabled.

Registration ends on the 20th March 2007
Registration after 20th March 2007 will be subjected to a late registration fee of $30.

Payment for the workshop must be made by 20 April 2007. We only accept payment via cash or cheque. Cash can be paid at the SDSC Office. Cheques must be made payable to "Singapore Disability Sports Council" and mailed to the following address:
