Flag Day 2008

8 March 2008
Islandwide

Flag Day is a fund-raising event where registered charitable organizations with National Council of Social Service are allowed to carry out street collection from the public appealing for donations.

SDSC is the only national sports body for the disabled in Singapore. A registered voluntary organisation with the Commissioner of Charities, SDSC’s goal is to promote, through sports, the well-being of the disabled in Singapore, helping them to live full and independent lives.

Fund-raising is imperative to us. Donations from the public and sponsorships from corporate organisations will certainly go a long way in helping us to continue providing programmes and therapy which will benefit our disabled members.

Be our Volunteer for SDSC Flag Day 2008
Help us as:
- Flag Ambassadors (You will be meeting people from all walks of life as you help us collect donations islandwide. Smile as our Ambassador and encourage others to support our cause!)

- Centre Managers (You will be managing a collection centre and helping us sign the ambassadors in / out. You must be above 21 years old.)

- Logistics Support (You will be helping us with the tin distribution / collection, as well as packing all the centre managers’ kits etc. Help us make sure everything is in place for a successful Flag Day!)
