Introduction
SDSC’s Sports Partnership Promotion Grant (SPPG) seeks to encourage individuals, groups, clubs and associations to play a part in the local disability sports scene, through the organisation of sports programmes or events at introductory, recreational and competitive levels. Through our joint efforts, we can deliver holistic initiatives that benefit everyone and anyone with disabilities.
By providing support to all organizations, SDSC hopes to promote greater disability sports participation beyond its affiliations. However, the interest of VWOs affiliated to SDSC remains undiminished. These VWOs will enjoy better support as compared to non-affiliated VWOs.

Eligibility
An evaluation matrix formula (EMF) will be used to evaluate all SPPG applications. The rationale is to create a system-dependent work process that could be managed and understood by any operator. It is also a fair system used to award grants to programmes with similar capacity.

Quantum of Grants
Based EMF, operators can award points according to the criteria set. From the consolidated points, operators will refer to the table below for the grant quantum.
Quantums Awarded Based on Points Earned| Category | Number of points awarded | Grant quantum |
|---|
| A | 18 points and above | up to 75% of the grant application up to maximum of $5000.00 |
| B | 13 points to 17 points | up to 75% of the grant application up to maximum of $3500.00 |

| E | 6 points and below | up to 75% of the grant application up to maximum of $500.00 |
- Based on the above table and EMF, operator can determine the grant levels that the application suffices.
- The EMF table is a tool to assist operators to recommend the level of quantum that an application can receive.
- To include greater promotion of disability sports, applicants are allowed to submit infinite number of applications within a calendar year. Operators can practice discretion in recommending the quantum and percentage of grant (up to max. 75%). Justifications are to be place during submission to higher authority.
