National Athletics Championships

Formerly known as National Para-Athletics Championships, the change in name reflects the shift towards promoting inclusivity in sports and the community as a whole. The NAC sees the inclusion of the deaf community, in addition to persons with a physical, intellectual and visual impairment, in the event. The annual meet is organised by the Singapore Disability Sports Council (SDSC). The NAC will hold the 47th edition of competitions in 2019.

Competitions like the NAC are crucial in helping SDSC develop a ready pool of athletes across all disability and age groups to represent Singapore in major international competitions; these competitions give SDSC the platform to scout for, and nurture, potential National Athletes that will be able to represent Singapore in regional and international competitions.
